Cottage under Chleb is the highest mountain chalet in Mala Fatra. It stands at an altitude of 1423 m above sea level, below Chleb Peak (1646 m above sea level), which is the origin of its name. The cottage is completely renovated and is open all year round and offers tourist accommodation. The cottage is open every day from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm. It offers traditional Slovak dishes, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, delicious soups, homemade desserts and other tasty delicacies.
The Cottage under Chleb can be visited at any time of the year. In good weather, the location will offer you beautiful views not only of Chleb and the Great Fatranský Kriváň, but also of the Western Tatras and Veľký Choč. From the Turčianska Basin there is a hiking trail to the Cottage under Chleb from the campsite from Trusalova, where you can comfortably park your car in the parking lot. The trail goes first along the yellow trail, then along the green trail. The ascent will take approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes.
