The Martinky Winter Park ski resort is located in Malá Fatra, directly above the town of Martin, at an altitude of 1,150-1,456 m above sea level. Martinky Winter Park is a resort that is unique in Slovakia for its abundance of natural snow. Skiers will find groomed trails of varying difficulty and natural snow all winter long. The resort also offers many opportunities for hiking and cross-country skiing.The total length of the slopes at Martinských holiach is 7.9 km. The top of the slopes is at an altitude of 1456 m and offers a unique view of the Turčianska Basin and the surrounding mountains. The slopes are mostly intermediate (red) and easy (blue). They are served by an express 6-seater and five lifts.
Transportation to the resort must be given special attention. Transport to the resort is only possible by car or on foot. The dedicated road to the resort is one-way and the use of road chains is compulsory. It is only possible to go up from 6:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 7:00 pm to midnight. It is only possible to go down from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm and from 1:00 am to 5:00 am.
